WCVH is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission as a non-commercial, educational radio station, owned and operated by the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Board of Education.  Because of this, we are prohibited from airing advertisements or commercials for any for-profit companies or businesses.

However, we are allowed to accept donations (called Underwriting) and to announce these donations on air.  These sponsorship acknowledgements cannot contain any commercial. messages or advertising copy; we can include your company's name, local address, phone number, website address and similar factual information.

Because your donation is a contribution to an educational, non-commercial radio station, it is tax deductible.

Donations are used to maintain and upgrade equipment and help us pay some of the many bills incurred by a radio station every month.
